Career manager with an international profile and holder of a master's degree in industrial relations (Human Resources), Sylvie has more than 35 years of experience in in the corporate Human Resources and Talent Management world as well as in the implementation of ERP systems mainly in very high technology, engineering, and professional services companies. She is a certified member of the Quebec Order of Certified Human Resources Professionals (CHRP). 

A servant leader at heart, Sylvie is passionate about people achieving their potential and being fulfilled and empowered.  She makes a difference in people’s lives through her coaching and mentoring practice which focus on leadership, communication and high-performance. 

Curious by nature, eager to learn and constantly evolving, Sylvie has a vast experience and solid expertise, which coupled with strong skills, make her an incomparable resource. She is known for her results-driven approach, unwavering professionalism and ethics, and positive influence on colleagues and collaborators, who often seek her advice and coaching. 

Because of her entrepreneurial nature and her determination, Sylvie has distinguished herself in all the senior management positions she has occupied.  Sylvie was regularly asked by her colleagues and employees for her feedback and her coaching skills.

Sylvie works with Colin Newhouse and Associates as a coach for all levels of management. She is accredited in all diagnostic technologies from Human Synergistics.®. She is also a John Maxwell Team certified coach and facilitator as well as a certified coach with John Mattone on his Intelligent Leadership program.

 

Sylvie nurtures future Human Resources leaders by teaching at the University of Quebec in Outaouais (UQO) and McGill University’s School of Continuing Studies. She contributes to undergraduate and graduate’s programs in industrial relations and human resource management, addressing key topics such as staffing, compensation, training, diversity, equity, inclusion, and change management.
